The MU Life Sciences Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (LS UROP) sponsors: summer and academic year undergraduate research internships; travel awards for undergraduates presenting their research at regional, national and international meetings; and a wide variety of workshops and special events for undergraduates with interest in life science research and research-related careers.

The LSUROP provides assistance in finding faculty mentors, part-time job in life science research programs at MU, and off-campus summer research experiences. The office also coordinates 8-week programs for non-MU students to work with MU faculty on campus during the semester.
